Jennison Managing Director
Warren N. Koontz is the head of value equity and a large cap value portfolio manager. He is responsible for overseeing the investment process, strategy implementation, and risk management for Jennison's value equity platform. Warren is also a member of the Jennison Management Team. Based in New York, he joined the firm in 2014.
Previously, Warren was with Loomis Sayles, where he managed diversified and concentrated value strategies. Prior to that, he was a member of the investment policy committee at Comerica Bank, where he managed institutional and high net worth equity portfolios. Before that, Warren worked at the Jeffrey Company as chief investment officer and the Public Employees' Retirement System of Ohio as the primary portfolio manager for equity portfolios.
He holds a BS in finance and an MBA from Ohio State University. He is a CFA charterholder.
