Jay Saunders is a portfolio manager for the natural resources and global power solutions equity strategies, and research analyst covering oil and gas equipment and services, metals and mining, macro commodity analysis, and distributed generation companies. Based in New York, he joined the firm in 2005.
Previously, he was with Deutsche Bank Securities as a vice president on the global oil team covering North American integrated oils, independent refiners, and exploration and production companies. Prior to that, he worked at several publications reporting on a range of oil- and energy-related topics.
Jay earned a BA in English from the College of William and Mary and an MA in print journalism from American University. Jay serves as a board member of Scenic Hudson.
