Cynthia Chen, PhD

Cynthia Chen is an equity research analyst covering biotechnology. Based in New York, she joined the firm in 2026. 

Previously, Cynthia was a managing director of a long/short biotech fund at StemPoint Capital. Prior to that, she was a biotech equity research analyst at T. Rowe Price. 

Cynthia earned a BS in microbiology from the University of California Los Angeles, an MPA in health policy and management from the New York University Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, and a PhD in immunology band inflammation from the New York University Langone School of Medicine. She is fluent in Mandarin.
