Jennison Managing Director, Head of Sustainability and Client Portfolio Manager
Michael LaBella is a managing director. He oversees the firm’s sustainable investment capabilities and strategies, including research, stewardship, and investment integration. He also is client portfolio manager within our custom solutions group, which works closely with clients to design investment solutions by leveraging Jennison’s expertise in fundamental research and portfolio construction. Based in New York, Michael joined the firm in 2023.
Previously, he was with Franklin Templeton, where he was head of sustainable portfolio solutions, and a member of the investment committee. Prior to that, Michael was at QS Investors, where he held senior leadership roles across portfolio management and investment strategy and served as a member of the firm’s management committee, responsible for investment and business decisions. Michael began his career at Deutsche Bank, where he held roles in the Corporate and Investment Bank and Asset Management divisions, including Portfolio Manager for the Quantitative Strategies Group
He received a BS with honors in financial economics from Binghamton University. He is a CFA charterholder and is a member of the CFA Society New York.
